although this hotel had a kitchen with cooking utensils, they did not have any detergent and/or scrub sponges to clean the kitchen after

Solo Traveler
It was a clean hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. I brought my elderly, handicapped dad with me and they got us a room near the elevator. A little off the "Strip" of Reno, but the drive wasn't that far. It was well worth the price. We'll stay again. ...read more

Family with Young Children
Great value for an overnight trip or an extended stay! Close to a grocery store so you can actually buy food to cook in the kitchen in your room. Fridge was apartment size, not just dorm room size! Great part of town, very safe. Staff was wonderful. ...read more

Clean, professional business class hotel. Not the most convenient location for tourists, but easy access to the freeway. Obviously intended for extended stay business travel. Nice kitchen units. Staff was friendly (a tendency to get chatty with patrons and fellow staff that teetered between welcoming and unprofessional. I thrice encountered clutches of employees yakking away with each other and or guests in the middle of a hallway or entrance, though they always offered a polite greeting and semi-apology for being in the way). This was a nice place to stay except for one substantial glitch - the air conditioning wasn't effective, and I couldn't get a good night's sleep because of it.

negative comments I worried about, however, I had no issues at check-in and had a clean room.
The hotel puts you 10-15 minutes from any of the hotel/casinos along Virgina is close to the Summit outdoor shopping mall and there's a coffee shop, Subway, and pub all within very close walking proximity. ...read more
